My son took the PEERS group program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills. At first he was very reluctant to participate and almost sabotaged our intentions as parents. However, as time passed by, he started to feel engaged in calling and receiving calls from his peers. He also initiated conversations with his school peers, up to the point to invite 2 of them home, out of the blue. We as parents have experienced a very positive change in his attitude towards conversations and calls with his peers and strangers in general. We highly recommend this program for those teenage boys and girls who struggle with socializing in general.

Amber, Katie, and Daniela were excellent facilitators for the program. Great rapport with the teens as well as the parents. The subject matter was broken up into manageable chunks and allowed the teens to build on the skills learned each session
I liked being able to meet people who are experiencing the same social difficulties as me. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone experiencing that.
I remember on the first day that I didn’t know what I was getting myself into but now I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I remember the first lessons and all the assignments and I am thankful for the support.
